Beaujolais Nouveau
The celebration of Beaujolais Nouveau on the 3rd Thursday of November rings in memories of brick phones, big hair, shoulder pads and who shot JR. The day was a rambunctious genuflection to excess, exuberance and sickly sweet, mass produced wines that spoke to no one but drew all the attention. We miss the 80’s so we are going to have a Beaujolais night of our own!
On the 16th of November we will eschew the sweat bands and fluoro tank top wines for some organically produced, natural Beaujolais’ from up and coming innovative young winemakers in this renaissance region. On the night 80's throw back, Sommelier and Bon Vivant Fiona Cashin of Le Caveau Wines will talk us through 4 wines displaying a range of depth to reignite your passion for this too long overlooked style.
Tickets are €25 for a flight of 4 tasting glasses and finger food.
